We just had a snow storm. It was damn near white out conditions. Here is a photo I took after work.

Joel and I went to the roofs the other day to try to get a trick. I pulled out my ender and Joel walked away with nothing. Those roofs suck. They are cool and a awesome thing to skate when you think of it, but you get there and then try to skate it and realise they are the hardest things in the world to skate. Not to mention we were skating when it was like 20 out.

Skateboard video update.

I haven't posted in forever. Sorry, but with the new roommate and things to do, I'm busy. Here is a update about the skate video.

My part is doing ok. It's true what they say, you are your harshest critic. I hate my part, but people seem to enjoy it. I understand I can't compete with everyone else, but I feel my part is more creative. I finally got my "ender" the other day though. Weird how every video I plan a ender and they don't pan out. Ever. It's ok though. My part is almost done. Just need the bangers to fill the end.

Joel's part is incredible. If he picked up his phone more instead of ignoring me his would be done. All unique stuff. It's short and amazing. People will be surprised at the things he can do when eh really feels up to it. Dude is good and his ender is my blowing. One man could do it and he is it.

Adam's is done. He wants one more trick and he will have nothing to complain about. The one tricks is a bitch though. We have to plan for it. That's the hard part. For the past 3 weeks he is getting better footage and all it's doing is giving him the option to take out what he doesn't like. That's a first for these videos. He used up his song a long time ago.

Al is superman on a board. It's hard for me to capture how good he is in real life. Dude will film stuff and disappear for a month. The weird part is he comes back better then before. His part is small, but everything is so hard. A lot of runs and such.

We have a lot of footage piled up. When I make the dvd, i'll be putting some special stuff with them. Extras as you might say.

That's really it for now. I'll be throwing up another promo around the 10th.

Went to the falls on a skate trip this last weekend and I ended up at Chris's house one morning. This is the greatest window ever.


Sunday we went to Duluth a Brad's window became stupid and wouldn't stay up. Brad fixed it and made it look legit.

Looking at it now, they look more like each other then I thought....

It's been a long time I know. I lost my internet connection. Oh well. Here is a quick update.
First off I went to the north shore for 3 days and camped. It was spent hiking through mountians and finding rivers and such. Here is a couple shots from the hikes.

You can see by this shot of why they would want it. I just looked like the forest below was on fire. It was incredible to see.

We ended up in Grand Maire for a couple hours and spotted this thing called artist point. I took Bekah's dog and we headed out to it while everyone else went shopping. It's increble to walk along this.

This was along it. Just thought it looked cool. Couples were in the water making their own.


I left a bit early and headed back to the cities. As soon as I walked in the door I called Adam to skate. I brought him to this bank to ollie into after being off a board for a week and got broke off.

It was so much worse then this too. I couldn't move for 2 days and my balls turned black and blue. I've just started skating again and I'm still scared to fall.

and if you remember a previous post of a this card, but not a halloween card. Terrible. This card can't be that big of a seller.... or could it.


The video is coming along good. I'm bummed because I know my part is bad. I just don't have anything. I try to film stuff, but i just give up or I can't do it. Along with thsi injury, I don't know what else could go wrong. I'm bummed I'm going to put something up that will not be my best.

The trailer is almost done. I just need a couple shots and I will put it out. Probably Thursday night. There will also be a best trick again in the falls. The first one was awesome, so let's hope this one is just as good.

Wednesday I took Bekah to Coquette for a day for a little present.


The first thing we did was drive straight north to a little place called split rock lighthouse(?)


We walked arounde and had a good time. We left and drove to our hotel.
Got checked in and this is what it was.


I got the jacuzzi sweet. Hell yea. We then dropped our stuff off and headed to the casino where we got a free $5. I won some in slots and we decided to head back and go swimming. After we left for Perkins where I got extremely sick. Probably due to the shots of jose cuervo in the motel. I had 3 in a hour and realized im not a hard liquor guy anymore. I threw up all over in the bathroom there and we headed out.
Got back to the room and I passed out.


Next morning I woke up and went to the casino while Bekah slept. I won some more cash and came back. I jumped in the jacuzzi and Bekah joined me. Sat there for a hour and a half and we packed up and checked out. We hit the casino one more time before we left.

I saw this the other day looking for a tank. It goes in the bottom of a fish tank. It's funny. I believe he is trying some sort of kickflip cross leg to 5-0? Who knows. He's on another lvl.


This boots are just like the cats. Fuck the cats.

We went skating yesterday and Al and Adam got a bunch of footage. I found couple spots and they were destroyed.

A couple of people from the falls made a video. Jake Piekarski uploaded his part on bookface. Pretty sweet. I'm hoping to see more stuff. To bad they showed it off early. They had a the rest of the year to film and could have showed it off with my film. Dumb. It turned out good though.

Last night I went to get a happy meal and found this drunk lady ordering stuff through the drive thu. The best part was the lobby was open.

I'm also starting something new today. Since my knee isn't getting better(and I have been taking it real light on the skating). I'm trying Yoga. I'm hoping to stretch it out for some relief. I'll give updates on how well it works out.

Strangly, the past few weeks I have lost the spark I have for skating. I don't know if it's because I'm hurt, I have Bekah, or this:

Knowing my favorite skater is done with parts kind of makes me reaalllllyy bummed. I guess the 2 videos in 5 years is too much for him or him just being over it, but it sucks.

Awesome ass Rat tail from Ren Fest.

Just some stuff.

I've been so busy. It's hard to keep up with this. I doubt any one checks it anyway, but it's fun to look back on this later.

Went to Ren Fest 2 times last week. Had a awesome time with my family. Knowing they are seeing stuff they never knew was out there is fun. Then the WTC hit it up and things got crazy. We were almost kicked out. Funny stuff.

Just some notes from me.

The video is coming along. Everyone is about a minute and a half away from being finished. This makes me happy. I just bought a new dry erase board so I can write down stuff I want from people or tricks they have came close to that should be filmed. Let's hope it comes together.

On the skateboarding note, my left ankle and knee hurt everyday. Maybe it's because I work almost everyday and skate after. I might need a break or something. If I could get a few more tricks I would love to sit out, but it's hard knowing I could be trying stuff. We shall see. I'll post a pic of the board later.

Tomorrow I'm going to head out and look for more spots. I'm hoping to find weird things. I like skating that stuff more then anything.

Went to the fight at Grizzlebees and this guy in the orange hat was wated. Calling Joel a hippy for 2 hours and talking to me about fox news. That dude was down for a good time.

Tuesday Brad came down. He told me he had 2 days off and wanted to "Get drunk and skate." Good thing that's really the only thing I enjoy on my time off.

He arrived and we hit Mendota up. He surprised me with how good he was at it. I have no idea how much he skates, but dame he was better at a mini then I thought. He did a nosepick yank in and it blew my mind.

Al showed up and it was a big friend session. Tricks were pulled and many brews were drank.
Later on in the night we keep the party going and headed to Nina's.


We called it a night from that place later and headed back home were Squid and Aaron were. I talked to Aaron about some website that dealt with cameras and he hit it up. We saw some dicks and we saw some chicks. Adam got in front of the camera and started yelling at people who tuned into ours. Pretty funny.

Got to skate with the WTC AM team. We also held a photo shoot. No big.
Speaking of the WTC video, It's coming along. Everyone is racking up footage(except Al) The video is coming along. This may or may not be the last one but so far it's the funnest.

My song is really up in the air right now. I have 3 pop songs and 1 dirty dark metal song. The real question is keep it light and fun or try to go for a good part?


Larry came down for the day this past weekend. He had warped tour. We went to the mall and hung out. We also got to skate for a while. Good stuff, it's always fun with him. He went and bought a ufc shirt at Spencers and the lady told him they didn't have a dressing room to just try it mid store. Funny. I got to snap this.



Sunday was filled with just filming fillers for the artsy shots of us riding around and just all around weird shots. We got to bomb a hill with a MPH detector and saw how fast we were going. It was something I have wanted to do for a long time. I got the idea after seeing this sick video I tell everyone about.
