Argg. So long it has been.
The past few days I have been feeling like I should go back to school and maybe apply for a border patrol job. I feel like I should, but I don't want to. I feel if I try for this job I will end up back in the falls forever, and that is one thing I never want to happen. Also, I will have almost will have got the television degree for nothing, even though I will save money and do little shows and still try for the festivals. arg.
Went to the falls last weekend and had a ok. time. I like skating with Larry a lot and he has a fucking bad ass bike. I;m green with jealous rage. You lucky bastard Larry.
Onward to crap I care about:
The official nominees for the 11th Annual TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards presented by Adio are:
BEST ROOKIE
Andrew Allen
Andrew Brophy
Sean Malto
I'm guessing Malto will win this. People can not stop pooping themselves over this guy. I watched his part in The Now and it was sub par. Just alot of handrail tricks. The whole video should have been backwards with David Gravette last and Malto first.
BEST STREET
Silas Baxter-Neal
Heath Kirchart
Anthony Van Engelen
2 of my top favs. in this one. Heath and AVE. Heath is amazing and can do no wrong in my eyes. His part in Mind Feild is phenominal and his ender is nothing to brush off. AVE on the other hand has had part of the year for me. Fast and dangerous and loving it. He skates to the adolescence and it fits him perfecly. The Jesse James of professional skateboarding. After watching his part I felt I should go buy his shoes JUST to support him(and almost did). SBN is amazing too, but he got skater of the year last year and all I see is the same footage form in part in the habitat video.
BEST TEAM
Alien Workshop
Anti Hero
Toy Machine
If John Cardiel was able to skate then Anti Hero, but he had to suffer that broken back and stop being incredible. He is the only person that can throw one flip trick in a part and no one would say shit. Toy Machine has Billy Marks and Ed. Josh Harmony can eat a dick for all I care. Alien is one of the best teams of all time. Every skater skates the way they want and you can tell. The only way the team could get better is by kicking Berra, Dyrdek, and Mike Taylor. Then Alien could do whatever they wanted and everyone would deal with it.
BEST VIDEO
And Now, TransWorld
Mind Field, Alien Workshop
Ride The Sky, Fallen Footwear
And Now was good, but not great. The first 2 parts and amazing then it drops. Maybe if Transworld spent more then a year filming they could win. Ride the sky is incredible. Pure skating and a amazing team. Slash should have had the ender, but oh well. I will do with Chris Cole turning my brains into shit. My vote will go to Mind Field. Never have I ever in my life watched a skate video and felt the need to go do something. Skateboarding or artistic they make me move. Jason Dill has a part that only gets better everytime I watch it to Jason Johnson skating to another Animal Collective song that is awesome. Wallride a barrier to tailslide on a rail? BLAM. Mind Field or riot.
BEST TRANSITION
Rune Glifberg
Peter Hewitt
Matt Mumford
Mumford for the fact I'm used to watching Misled Youth were he skates nothing but rails. Watch his Globe part and tell me he is more of a rail skater then transition skater.
BEST VIDEO PART
David Gravette, And Now
Jake Johnson, Mind Field
Anthony Van Engelen, Mind Field
If I was Transworld I would give all 3 of them this title. Everyone should win here.

Urban Thursday
The thing about skateboarding is you do what you want to do. I want to have as much fun and skate shit that is looked at and thought nothing of. Filming a little video I'm making for the camp trip, I found a pile of rocks and skated right to it and skated skating it. It's funny knowing someone will watch this and thing 1 of 2 things. 1. Why is he skating rocks? or 2. Todd is skating rocks. Sometimes, I skate with people that just seem like they don't like doing it and it's a bummer. I was told by Hunter a couple weeks ago that he likes watching my skate parts because they are always different. Mission Completed.

Sunday film time
Joel had a gnarly hangover so he decided to film me and not skate. So we went out and hit up a place that I love to do mannys at and got a new trick. It's nice knowing every video we do I end up doing at lest 1o new tricks. This is just one of the spots I have seen some stuff go down involving some mannys and before anything got going with Joel and the cowboy boots we got the ol' shut down from the guard.

It's been a busy ass week.
Last Sunday Joel, Ben G., and I went to Minneapolis and got a few tricks and I did a trick I have never done before. It was something I wanted to do for this video and was surprised to get it so early.
Joel showed up to my house ready to skate in cowboy boots. He told me months ago that he was gonna do a part in cowboy boots. When something comes out you will have to see if he fulfills his promise.

Al called me up Wensday and wanted to skate. Always a good time with him.
Other then work, I feel pretty sick while typing this.
Tomorrow Joel and I are gonna maybe go back to Minneapolis or this big ass grass hill he wants to bomb. I found the "hill of death" a couple of months ago and he wants to grass ride it.

Things I hate right now...
Not sleeping and the dark ass circles around my eyes at all times.
No money, but that shit isn't my fault.
Lame ass broken board I have been skating with.
Being lazy.
The new Misfits.
Things I like right now
Doing new tricks
The thought of making a new skate video and alreday having tricks I'm happy with.
Glen Danzig.
Joel telling people he wants to film a part in all cowboy boots. Then showing up at my house ready to skate Minneapolis in Cowboy boots and no other shoes.
Being inspired by movies I like and actually playing around in after effects and figuring out how they do them.
