Argg. So long it has been.

Sorry for the delay. I have been putting this off for a while. Whats new?

The past few days I have been feeling like I should go back to school and maybe apply for a border patrol job. I feel like I should, but I don't want to. I feel if I try for this job I will end up back in the falls forever, and that is one thing I never want to happen. Also, I will have almost will have got the television degree for nothing, even though I will save money and do little shows and still try for the festivals. arg.

Went to the falls last weekend and had a ok. time. I like skating with Larry a lot and he has a fucking bad ass bike. I;m green with jealous rage. You lucky bastard Larry.

Onward to crap I care about:

The official nominees for the 11th Annual TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards presented by Adio are:

BEST ROOKIE
Andrew Allen
Andrew Brophy
Sean Malto

I'm guessing Malto will win this. People can not stop pooping themselves over this guy. I watched his part in The Now and it was sub par. Just alot of handrail tricks. The whole video should have been backwards with David Gravette last and Malto first.

BEST STREET
Silas Baxter-Neal
Heath Kirchart
Anthony Van Engelen

2 of my top favs. in this one. Heath and AVE. Heath is amazing and can do no wrong in my eyes. His part in Mind Feild is phenominal and his ender is nothing to brush off. AVE on the other hand has had part of the year for me. Fast and dangerous and loving it. He skates to the adolescence and it fits him perfecly. The Jesse James of professional skateboarding. After watching his part I felt I should go buy his shoes JUST to support him(and almost did). SBN is amazing too, but he got skater of the year last year and all I see is the same footage form in part in the habitat video.

BEST TEAM
Alien Workshop
Anti Hero
Toy Machine

If John Cardiel was able to skate then Anti Hero, but he had to suffer that broken back and stop being incredible. He is the only person that can throw one flip trick in a part and no one would say shit. Toy Machine has Billy Marks and Ed. Josh Harmony can eat a dick for all I care. Alien is one of the best teams of all time. Every skater skates the way they want and you can tell. The only way the team could get better is by kicking Berra, Dyrdek, and Mike Taylor. Then Alien could do whatever they wanted and everyone would deal with it.

BEST VIDEO
And Now, TransWorld
Mind Field, Alien Workshop
Ride The Sky, Fallen Footwear

And Now was good, but not great. The first 2 parts and amazing then it drops. Maybe if Transworld spent more then a year filming they could win. Ride the sky is incredible. Pure skating and a amazing team. Slash should have had the ender, but oh well. I will do with Chris Cole turning my brains into shit. My vote will go to Mind Field. Never have I ever in my life watched a skate video and felt the need to go do something. Skateboarding or artistic they make me move. Jason Dill has a part that only gets better everytime I watch it to Jason Johnson skating to another Animal Collective song that is awesome. Wallride a barrier to tailslide on a rail? BLAM. Mind Field or riot.

BEST TRANSITION
Rune Glifberg
Peter Hewitt
Matt Mumford

Mumford for the fact I'm used to watching Misled Youth were he skates nothing but rails. Watch his Globe part and tell me he is more of a rail skater then transition skater.

BEST VIDEO PART
David Gravette, And Now
Jake Johnson, Mind Field
Anthony Van Engelen, Mind Field

If I was Transworld I would give all 3 of them this title. Everyone should win here.

TWS READERS’ CHOICE
Chris Cole
Heath Kirchart
Sean Malto

Heath Kirchart. He came out of the blue with a part you would have never saw coming. If his part in the Emerica video is half as good as his Mind Field part, then he is a shoe in for skater of the year.

more later...
